The father of a preschooler attending the Tuvia School of Temple Menorah in Redondo Beach, California - and a loyal friend of CAUSSEAUX | ARC - asked if we could partner with the school to help orchestrate their ambitious plans for a new playground.
Knowing that this project would benefit many preschoolers in our community, and that the playground was being built in dedication to a longtime assistant teacher who had passed away in 2010, we were honored to be a part of it's success.
Modern play equipment and new shade canopies were installed, new restrooms were built directly adjacent to the play yard, and beautiful landscaping was added to accent the views of South Redondo Beach and the Palos Verdes Peninsula.
This project was executed, pro-bono, as part of Impact 42. Through the commitment of many individuals and organizations, over $90,000 was donated in volunteer labor and materials.
This fall, the playground was officially dedicated to Ms. Liner - and open for some serious enjoyment as 'Maureen's Yard'.
